Spiritual enrichment/ Gardening

Today has been a good day.  I haven't had too many classes this week, today we had spiritual enrichment sessions with a funny and inspiring speaker, I'm working on a crochet project, most of my homework is done (enough for today, but working ahead a little), and I'm looking up things on gardening!  I really want to be able to garden someday.  I want to be able to carry on the legacy of my grandma Jackie.  She is such a special woman!  She's so funny and kind.  In her earlier days she would cook, clean, knit, crochet, quilt, garden, plant flowers, host the family for dinner, etc.  She made a place so warm and inviting.  I want to be that way.  I will never forget all of the bright flowers there were planted by her driveway and hanging in pots on the deck.  She also had hanging tomato plants, there were plum trees in the back, and she had her own compost pile and some garden.  She also always had bird feeders with seed, attracting bluejays, chickadees, woodpeckers, som

Hope--Inspiring Quotes : )

Hope—Inspiring Quotes “I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.” ― Robert Fulghum , All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten “ There is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is only the comparison of one state with another, nothing more. He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness. We must of felt what it is to die, Morrel, that we may appreciate the enjoyments of life. " Live, then, and be happy, beloved children of my heart, and never forget, that until the day God will deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is contained in these two words, 'Wait and Hope.” ― Alexandre Dumas “ It's really a wonder that I haven't dropped all my ideals, because they

Undone...

Well, I'm just feeling broken and undone.  Turning to Jesus and trusting him because I feel so overwhelmed emotionally and physically and stressed out sometimes.  I hate it so much.  I know that God can work things out.  I know I have to be careful and take things people say with a grain of salt.  Sometimes I feel like other people are on edge too and then it sets me off crying and I just hate that.  Then I'm just like breathe babe, take care of yourself first and then you can go out and conquer the world (aka homework and projects, Bible reading, friend stuff, do Valentines, etc.)  Oh and pray!  Pray without ceasing Jasmine!  I have to just give it over to the Lord.  I know He is with me.  I guess I've been going through a lot personally lately dealing with school and friends, trying to keep my head above water in the waves of emotions I feel sometimes.  I just want a resting place.  I need him so much.  He is my rock and I really am grateful and I'm believing that He
